Why is my order taking so long?

Edited

Some mouthpiece orders are available from our vast inventory and can ship the same or next day. However, there are so many variations that require custom programming and manufacturing and may end up taking longer than expected.

Some reasons why some orders require more time:

  • A custom design that combines several different aspects that we do not have in inventory.

  • A delay in silver or gold plating: Plating is the only operation that we do not do in-house. Therefore it takes time to prep, ship, plate, and return to us before we can ship to you.

  • An unforeseen scheduling conflict: Sometimes we have maintenance or machine exceptions or repairs that remove our ability to manufacture for a period of time. These unforeseen breakdowns or interruptions can add time to the production of your order.

  • Damage through our manufacturing process: Sometimes accidents happen. A mouthpiece gets dropped, it gets damaged in shipping, or worse case it gets damaged right before being packaged to send to you! Instead of repairing and sending a used mouthpiece to you, we manufacture again from scratch so that you get the best possible product.
