What cornet backbores do you offer?

Our standard trumpet tops can be coupled with our cornet series backbores to create the best cornet mouthpiece for you and your instrument.  

The cornet series spans four models: #0, #1, #2, and #3.

• #0 is the largest volume, with the shorter throat length.  Its low resistance offers an open feel and big sound.

• #1 is our most popular cornet backbore, with a blend of resistance yet still an open and full sounding backbore.

• #1.5 offers a great feel between the efficiency of the #2 and the open feel of the #1.

• #2 brings additional resistance to players who have a larger cornet or that have a desire for higher efficiency.

• #3 is our highest resistance cornet backbore with the longer throat length.  

All cornet mouthpieces are offered in a variety of throat sizes to match your mouthpiece top.
