Blackburn Piccolo Leadpipes

Cliff Blackburn developed many replacement leadpipes for various brands of piccolo trumpets. Several options are available for most trumpets.

• P1C: This leadpipe greatly improves the intonation and response of instruments while preserving their character and tone. Available for Benge, Getzen, Kanstul, Schilke, Selmer, and Stomvi instruments in A & Bb.

• P2: With a slightly darker timbre than the P1C, the P2 offers improved intonation, response, while maintaining the responsive nature of the leadpipe. Available for Benge, Getzen, Kanstul, Schilke, Selmer, and Stomvi instruments in A & Bb.

• P4: This leadpipe offers improved intonation, articulation, and response while maintaining a classic piccolo sound. This leadpipe also improves the intonation and response. For Yamaha Trumpets only

• P5: Offering an enhanced sparkle to the upper register, the P5 has a compact feel between the P1C and P2. For Getzen and select brands only.
