Over the years, Cliff Blackburn developed a number of trumpet leadpipes for Bach Bb and C trumpets. These that we offer today are the result of years of testing and experience.

• #11: This leadpipe offers outstanding intonation, coupled with a brilliant and well-centered tone. Its true characteristics shine when used in commercial/lead settings.

• #12: Known for its pure, clear, and focused sound, and has excellent projection, with a more dense sound than the #11.

• #12M: A slightly darker variant than the #12 leadpipe. This leadpipe is a popular choice for players who want to warm up their sound, without sounding excessively dark.

• #15L: Offers some initial resistance, which quickly opens up when pushed. Labeled as the ‘crossover’ leadpipe, it fits numerous playing situations from lead to classical.

• #19: This is our most popular and versatile leadpipe. It offers an outstanding response, and a robust medium dark tone.

• #20: The most robust, and powerful leadpipe we offer. It allows the player to use a massive amount of air to produce a dark and rich tone.

• #1B: Discontinued. The precursor to the #19 series. Offers an open, robust tone.
