In additional to trumpet leadpipes, Blackburn also designs and manufactures custom tuning slides.
Tuning slides are characterized by not only their bore size much like instruments are described, but also in the shape of the tuning slides.
Blackburn tuning slides are available in a round and semi-round shape.
The round shape offers a very open, low resistance feel
The semi-round shape provides additional efficiency and balance.
All Blackburn tuning slides include an Amado style spit key and are available in raw brass, silver plated, or gold plated options.
